My name is Cheryl Fairweather and I am a full-time track cyclist (sprinter). I used ATP Extreme today for the first time and the results I got were so amazing I just had to let you know!

So the workout I did today included 3 all out efforts at my highest gear. Below is what I am normally capable of doing:

SET 1:

  • MAX GEAR
  • HOLD 85 RPM’s for 5 seconds
  • Normal Max Heart Rate: ~180 bpm

SET 2:

  • MAX GEAR
  • HOLD 85 RPM’s for 10 seconds
  • Normal Max Heart Rate: ~180 bpm

SET 3:

  • Normally stop after 2 sets because my legs are blown out.

Then today when I used ATP Extreme, I was able to accomplish milestones I haven’t even come close to accomplishing before!

SET 1:

  • MAX GEAR
  • HOLD 100 RPM’s for 10 seconds (double my duration)
  • Normal Max Heart Rate: 131 bpm

SET 2:

  • MAX GEAR
  • HOLD 100 RPM’s for 20 seconds (double my normal duration)
  • Normal Max Heart Rate: 136 bpm

SET 3:

  • MAX GEAR
  • HOLD 101 RPM’s for 20 seconds
  • Normal Max Heart Rate: 165 bpm

As you can see, my performance increase was unbelievable! Not only was able to hold my RPMs for twice as long as normal, but I was able to complete one more entire set over a duration I had never even come close to holding before AND my max heart rates were lower.
